The Miharu Hariko Daruma is a handcrafted good luck doll from Fukushima, made of washi paper by Shoichi Hashimoto, the 21st-generation master of a 300-year-old tradition. Unlike ordinary daruma, both its eyes are painted on from the start, symbolising a wish already fulfilled, and its gentle presence, made to catch your gaze from any angle, is said to bring balance and protection wherever it sits. Let this quiet, weighted companion, always ready to rise again if it falls, bring a little strength and good fortune into your everyday life.
